1. Justify how this project/activity/assignment meets the standard, using evidence from the standard itself to demonstrate your mastery and/or understanding.
This project meets the standard because the project makes us create a traveling brochure for a specific state, in my case, New Jersey. Because I got New Jersey, I had to understand its economy which was based on farming wheat, fur trading, and metal mining. I also had to understand the history of New Jersey, and who founded the country.
2. Elaborate on at least 1 skill and/or strength you feel you gained from completing this project.
I think I gained the skill of being able to explain information about a subject efficiently without putting in useless information like my older projects. I also think I gained the skill of being able to research for specific type of information such as, religion, economy, and geography.
3. Upon reflecting on your work/score, what is ONE area of work you could have done better on? How will improving in this area benefit future work/projects?
Upon reflecting it now I think I could have done better on decorating the insides more either by drawing more pictures or, coloring the brochure. I also think I should have put more effort on gluing the pictures and text in because, the thing started to fall apart after being in my backpack.
4. How will you presently apply the content and skills you learned from this assignment in the real world. Make connections between the content and your life.
I could use the skills I learn from this project when I need to explain more subjects in any shape or form in future projects any class may give. I could also use this when I need to make perfect brochures without wrinkles.
